SALE PENDING +++PRICE REDUCED from $1150+++ For Sale: 1924 Argentine Sistema Mod 1927(Colt 1911 Contract) 45 ACP pistol. This pistol does not have any military or police cresting. It would be considered a pistol made for the commercial market but does have additional 4 digit number stamped to the right of serial number. This 4 digit number was only stamped onto Air Force pistols so it is an anomoly. It also has (05) stamped in from of the slide and frame serial number in a different font which could have been done in the second step of its historical journey to German. It has German proof marks typical of firearms brought into the country on the frame/slide/barrel. This pistol was in a German's personal collection for many years and recently made its way back into the US. IT DOES NOT HAVE ANY IMPORT MARKINGS & RETAINS THE ORIGINAL FINISH. The finish is rated at 85%-90%. Frame/Slide/Barrel is serial numbered the same. Magazine is not. Grips are early style Keyes without wide ring around screw holes. This pistol has been fired and functions flawlessly. Would make an excellent addition to a collection.
