Description:
This is one really cool and super lightweight semi-automatic .22LR rifle! It is a Magnum Research Model MLR-1722 with a black tactical stock and is in like-new condition with several extras. The "Magnum Lite" receiver is machined from a forged block of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and includes a integral Weaver style optics rail. The bolt is machined from heat treated 4140 steel with super tight bolt face tolerances for improved accuracy. The Magnum Research patented graphite barrel is unique to this firm's rifles only, and provides better heat dissipation than steel and is much lighter weight and extremely stiff. This model uses Ruger 10/22 magazines and is housed in a lightweight polymer Blackhawk stock with collapsible/adjustable buttstock. While this rifle is technically used, it is in like-new condition and has had less than 100 rounds put thru it. It comes with a Cabela's 3-9x40 Rimfire Scope with a bullet drop compensating reticle mounted up in Weaver rings. The scope is also in like-new condition with clear optics free from scracthes or chips, and all of the adjustments work 100% like the day it left the factory. The rifle comes with a 10-round Ruger factory magazine and a 25-round Ruger BX25 magazine, as well as 600 rounds of CCI ammunition (2-300 packs) and a .22 caliber Hoppe's boresnake still in the box. This rifle package would be perfect for hunting, plinking, or target shooting. It only weighs 4 pounds and 11 ounces with the scope included so it could be carried effortlessly during long days in the woods, or by people smaller in stature. Priced at $595 for all of it, this is a great deal and priced well under what the rifle sells for by itself.
