Description:
We are taking on consignment a fantastic small focused collection of Fabbri pigeon guns. One Side-by-Side and one Over & Under. Both of these phenomenal guns are engraved by Iora and both of these guns appear to have been shot little if at all. They may be purchased separately. *** The Side-by-Side is case colored and has two sets of Boehler steel barrels that are 74cm(29.125”) in length. One is tightly choked for box birds and the other more open for columbaire, The more open set of barrels is still protected in its original plastic wrap. The straight grip stock and semi-beavertail forearm are made from nicely figured European walnut with a lustrous hand rubbed oil finish. There is a gold pigeon inlaid in the bottom of the forearm. The length of pull from its single trigger is 14-1/2” over a 3/4” pad. *** The Over/Under has a single trigger and 30” Boehler steel barrels tightly choked for flyers. The pistol grip stock and beavertail forearm are made of highly figured walnut and have a beautiful hand rubbed oil finish. The forearm has a gold pigeon inlaid into the bottom. The length of pull from its single trigger is 14-3/8” over a 3/4” pad. *** Considered by many to be the best maker of shotguns in the world it is always noteworthy when a collection of Fabbris in the condition of these two guns comes on the market. They may be purchased separately. Opportunities like this don’t come around very often and your stock portfolio has been doing great. Life is short. Write the check.
