This 1978 vintage Colt Diamondback .22LR revolver is in minty like-new condition and is complete with the original serial numbered box and all the paperwork, hangtag, etc. It is 100% original and could pass as being unfired outside of the factory test firing. The original gloss blue finish rates 99% with no wear or handling marks outside of an extremely faint drag line on the cylinder. The bore is equally as minty, with no pitting, erosion, or wear of any kind showing. The original checkered Walnut grips are in like-new condition and feature gold Colt medallions. This Diamondback could pass as having been shipped from the Colt factory last week rather than 40 years ago. The original box is in great shape overall and still has a nice legible end-label. The styrofoam inserts are also in great shape, as is the paperwork that was shipped with it. As you can see in the pictures provided it would be nearly impossible to upgrade from this one! If you have been looking for a .22 caliber Colt Diamondback to put up as an investment in your collection here is your chance to get a spectacular example at a great price.
