Now they are percussion. On top of the barrel in gold inlay is the marking "N Edward Averdvn". Locks have those same markings. Some light engraving on the hammer, buttplate and trigger guard. Opposite the lock plate is a unique scroll work design. Nicely carved wood stocks show some minor repairs. Complete with correct ramrods. Barrels measure about 9". Function well. Quite a fancy matched pair. Leroy Merz Antique Firearms specializes in antique and vintage Winchesters and other fine American firearms.
