The barrel date is 10-42. The carbine's serial number is 48237. This Carbine is all correct with original Inland Parts. The trigger housing has the double bevel cut. The bolt is the early style with the early style extractor. The hammer is the correct dog leg style.The sights are correct for this carbine. The stock has the proper codes as well as the forend. The high wood has not been cut down. The barrel has never had the type three barrel band installed. The original finish is strong with very little wear. All the parts are correct for this time frame. The bore is bright and clean. The magazine is the correct early style for this gun. This is a very difficult early carbine to find! Most of these early guns saw heavy service and have been upgraded during it's service life. This carbine is as it left the factory in 1942. These early original carbines are highly collectable!
