EARLY 20th Cent. LANE’S BALL TRIGGER Gem Air Gun
Handy Break-Action .177 Caliber
Here we present a Lane’s Patent Ball Trigger Gem Type Air Gun, made in the early 20th Century in London, England. This break-action air gun is short and handy. It is .177 caliber at the bore. The barrel is round with a full-length flat on top with a finely textured finish to reduce glare. The rear sight is a V-notch affixed to the barrel while the front sight is a post with a bead.
The left side of the frame it is marked with “LANE’S/PATENT BALL-TRIGGER”.
The overall condition is very good. The metal is smooth with a dark patina. The markings are legible. The walnut stock shows some handling and is dark, but has very nice grain. The bore is smooth and clean. The action is excellent. Here is a very neat, 100-year-old English air gun!
