The Schuetzen is a wonderful example of Old World Austrian and German competition rifles. Austro-German immigrants brought Schuetzen rifles and competitions to the midwestern United State in the mid 1800's and today these slow, relaxed 100 rounds at 200 yards "fests" or "Schuetzenfest" are still popular. One of the largest is the Coors Schuetzenfest, found byAdolf Coors in Colorado in 1982.
