Description:
For sale from my personal collection, outstanding 20 ga. WR Pape hammergun with rebounding hammers. 30" beautiful damascus nitro proofed barrels with 2 3/4" chambers. Wood has nice color and figure and the LOP to heel is 14 1/2". The weight is 6 lb. 1 oz. and the gun balances perfectly as an upland bird gun with rare 30 " barrels. My best attempt to measure the chokes are C/IC.
?the drop at heel is 2 1/4" and 1 5/8" at comb. I have shot this gun successfully as an upland bird gun for 4 years using RST Vintager loads. The case is oak and leather with all handles, straps, brass locks and corners including a key and is in excellent condition for it's age. These cases are bringing $1,000 in this condition. Price is $6,950 plus $50 shipping. Year built, 1894/95. As an antique, pre 1899, I believe I can ship direct to the purchaser.
