Description:
This is a great 12 gauge slug gun or home defense weapon. This Remington Special Purpose Model 870 Magnum was manufactured in 1998 but could pass for having been made last month. It is in excellent condition and has spent most of it's life in storage. This Remington features a tough and weather-resistant parkerized finish and a black synthetic stock set with a factory Remington recoil pad and sling swivel studs already installed. The length of pull is 14" inches to the end of the pad. The barrel is a short and handy 20" inches long and features windage and elevation adjustable rifle-style sights and is choked "Improved Cylinder". This Magnum model accomadates both 2.75" and 3" inch 12 gauge shells. The magazine holds 4 rounds without a plug. Everything on this shotgun works 100% like the day it left the factory. It is highly likely given the condition of this shotgun that there has been less than 20 shotshells fired thru it since it left the factory. If you have been looking for a new slug gun for the upcoming deer season that can also serve equally as well as home defense weapon, this Remington Special Purpose 870 Magnum would be a great choice.
