When New York City had difficulty getting new recruits to qualify with the issue 38 Special Model 15 they alledgedly approached Smith & Wesson to build the Model 18 to ease the recruits in marksmanship. Please find this fantastic virtually unfired Smith & Wesson Model 18-3, 22 long rifle revolver, Serial # 18K5612. This is the variant that has all the features that the penny pinchers at Smith did away with to increase or maintain a profit margin. Vivid case colors on hammer and trigger, recessed cylinder, pinned barrel and cylinder stop. Thin trigger medium width checkered hammer. Virtually no cylinder line visible. A truly nice revolver that we likely will never see produced again. No unsightly side lock, or unfinished milling.

Returns: Our return policy is simple. It is important to us that you are happy. Guns must not be fired or dissembled before returning them and they must be returned in the same condition as received. Notification of a return must occur with-in 3 days of delivery at your dealer. Shipping, convenience and dealer fees are not refundable and are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Ammunition cannot be returned.
Lay-a-way: If desired, we offer a 30,45 or 60 day lay-a-way option on most firearms. It is 1/3 now, 1/3 in 30 days and 1/3 in 60 days. Lay-a-way firearm sales are final and if not completed the payments cannot be returned.
