Used. This firearm is a good example of the third variant Star model F. These pistols were made from 1932 to 1983 (the third variant 1958-1967) as low cost plinkers evolving into variants meant for target shooting, and even olympic style rapid fire competition. The manufactrer of this pistol is Star Bonifacio Echeverria S.A. and they went through a number of changes to try and compete in the global market. In 1983 they discontinued many of their classic line of pistols and evenutally went out of business in May of 1997. A good candidate for a cost effective plinker pistol that is priced to own!
