Description:
Schultz & Larsen M48 bolt-action rifle in 7.62 Nato (.308win). This is a "Free Rifle" or "Freestyle" competition rifle. 27" heavy barrel. Redfield International Match rear sight, front sight is not marked. Barrel is marked Made In Denmark, receiver is marked Schultz & Larsen Otterup Denmark. Serial is 30XX. Thumbhole target stock with adjustable Schutzen butt. Adjustable forend grip installed along with a barrel weight and sling attachment. Extremely light, adjustable set-trigger. Leather strap installed.
This rifle is used but is in immaculate condition. Wood and blueing are excellent. Slight discoloration to the blue towards the end of the barrel, shown in pics. These are a very rare find in 7.62 NATO and are not often found with the forend grip. This is a beautiful collector and shooter.
