I have for sale a 1917 Savage 1899 take down in 250-3000 caliber. Serial number 189XXX which makes it manufactured in 1917. It has a Lyman Middlefield receiver sight. This rifle has a beautiful perch belly stock, no cracks. The bluing does show some mottling and normal wear for a rifle of this age. Case coloring on the lever still exists. I have tried to depict the rifle as fairly as possible in the pictures. Overall this is a nice rifle for 101 yoa. Shipping $45.00 to lower 48 states.
