Description:
Factory Engraved Beretta Model 687EELL Over/Under Shotgun with Case
Dual bead sights on the matte rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers, ejectors, standard barrel markings and Italian proofs, and choke tube system (modified/improved cylinder installed). Box lock action with side plates featuring full coverage fine scroll engraving with Bulino game scenes of partridge on the right, mallards on the left, and a woodcock on the underside. The trigger plate is inscribed "Bottega C. Giovanelli" in fine script indicating the engraving was performed at the Giovanelli engraving studio. Adjustable gold washed single trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch. Checkered forearm with finger grooves and pistol grip stock with solid rubber recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .721/.722 inch; minimum wall thickness .040/.040 inch; drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 inches; length of pull 14 3/4 inches. With Beretta takedown case with seven extra choke tubes and choke tool.
Condition: Excellent. 99% original finish remains with some scattered light handling marks. The wood is also excellent with crisp checkering and some small handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Case is very good with fiew storage marks.
