Description:
Winchester Model 97 in the Trench-Gun configuration. Built on a solid frame 97. Manufactured in 1906. Serial number on frame and receiver extension match. Walnut buttstock and forearm have been tastefully refinished. Forearm is excellent – no cracks. No cracks in the wrist which plague the 97s. There is a slight crack at the heel (approx. ¾” long), just forward of the widows peak in the buttplate. Metal retains 99% parkerized finish. Own this excellent reproduction at a fraction of the price of an original.
