Used. This gun has seen better days but it is an example that is priced to own. This was Colt's new pocket model with a positive safety that basically ensured that the trigger had to be pulled in order for the gun to fire. The .32 police or .32 new police caliber is nearly the same as the .32 S&W long cartridge. This dates from an era when competitors did not want one anothers name on their products. The only difference in the cartridges was that the .32 S&W long was loaded with a round nosed bullet, whereas the .32 police or new police was loaded with a flat nosed bullet. This revolver was likely shot with black powder loads and was not cleaned, resulting in the current bore condition. This would make a great project gun or inexpensive range plinker.
