SCARCE BAVARIAN MODEL 1804 FLINTLOCK LIGHT CAVALRY / LANCERS CHEVAUXLEGERS PISTOL. 16” o/a with 8 ¾” smoothbore .70 caliber round barrel “AS” stamped at the top near the breech Amberg Arsenal. Left side of stock stamped “8” and “A&S”. Exceptional condition with all the original parts and both metal and wood in untouched attic excellent condition. Looks as if was in storage for 150 years. Has the original military arsenal polish on the metal with a light old patina. Wood had all the old dry arsenal finish. Working order and near mint bore. Type carried by Lancers and Light Cavalry during the Napoleonic Wars era. Exceptional example.
