Description:
This Carl Ecikhorn Luftwaffe parade bayonet has a beautiful etching in German in memory of my time in service, with a WW2 GERMAN ME109 AIRPLANE, all nice and frosty etched, it has been in the bottom of a vet, trunk since 1945. The complete bayonet is mint , no loss on the paint , the frog is minty with a little age on the rivets, dated 1941 with the maker initials JKH , which stands for , CARL BUSSE, MADE IN MAINZ. The plating is mint there is a yellow minty peice of felt in the attachment end for the gun, yellow for Luftwaffe. The knot is leather and is not silver,but green, which is unusual since that would make this a heer or army portepee, but it is mint and has a leather attaching strap. This was in the trunck with a EMIL VOOS rare luftwaffe dagger which I am also selling, these were I beleive from the same officer in the Luftwaffe, some one with high rank and money, the best special ordered.
