I am reducing my collection: This is a Winchester mod. 70 rifle in Feather Weight form made in 1957, the serial # being 417xxx, when Winchester made the best quality. It has the 22" barrel and the aluminum butt plate that was on the earlier guns as well as the larger area checkered compared to post '62 guns. It's in 98 % condition and has been used very little. There is virtually no wear on the metal including the bolt knob and the floor plate The bore is excellent. The condition would rate even better but for a few marks on the wood including a scratch on the left side about 2 inches long. It comes with a period scope, I think Weaver, with cross hairs and clear optics. Leather sling included. I will send this to an FFL in a new hard case with a $25 charge ( my cost). Buyer pays shipping. .
