Description:
This is a late 1943-production, Mauser-made, "byf43" P.38 Pistol. This is one of the last pistols to have the eagle/135 proofs before the change over to the WaA135 proofs. From a P.38 collector standpoint, the gun is pretty desirable, even though it is one of the more common code/date combos. This pistol is entirely 135-proofed and is all-matching with a mint bore. This is a top-quality example of late 1943, Mauser P.38 production, which was equal to or better than anything being shipped out of the Walther factory at the time. This is an honest example of a veteran bring-back, with no import marks.
