You are viewing an Original, Antique US Civil War, .54 Caliber, Confederate Southern Percussion Conversion of an M1836 Flintlock Pistol. Overall length measures 14-1/2". Pistol remains in Very Fine condition. (Alteration mostly likely done in Richmond. We were also notified that this pistol was percussion altered by Frederick Hanson of Patterson, New Jersey. Hanson altered 52 pistols for the Passaic Light Horse in the 1850s). All markings are present.
Actions and bore are fine. Back of hammer is stamped 31. Stock is very nice and has 3 clear cartouches. Overall a very nice condition Confederate altered pistol. Made during Civil War in US. Model: 1836. No FFL Required. Antique.
