...Colt SAA Frontier Six Shooter circa 1908. 5.5" barrell 44-40 caliber. Gun has good traces of case and blue in the flutes. Case on the frame and the hammer, traces of blue on the trigger gaurd bows. All factory markings are clear. Nice original grips, good screw heads on all screws. The balance is a smooth gray patina. Perfect action. Nice tight gun. C&R or an FFL are required for shipping. comes with factory letter, shipped to Charles Ifield, co. Albuqurqi New Mexico, all stats correct. Never been buffed or messed with at all, untouched, great letter and history of uncle Ludwig of the Mexican national guard pursuing Poncho Via. pictures of Teddy Rosevelt with Ludvig IIfeld , they were good friends, Tedddy was in N. M. for the rough rider's reunion. gun was sent in 1910 and Poncho was pursued in 1914, this gun was probably used in the hunt for Villa, shoots great!
