Description:
A collector firearm dedicated to American Freedom and Independence. A classic Patriotic Tribute firearm in Colt .45 auto. Expertly crafted each Colt pistol is forged of steel then blued. The American Eagle, his powerful wings stretch the length of the barrel and slide. His keen eys face the muzzle in a vigilant gaze and he grips a set of arrows in his powerful talons. The wings and body of the eagle are engraved and etched in 24-karat gold and the head is in silver. The American Flag adorns the inside lid of the wooden case and a brass plaque engraved with the name "American Eagle" and an American eagle insignia is featured beside this Patriotic Tribute. The case is luxuriously lined in blue velvet molded to the contour of the gun and makes for an awe-inspiring presentation. The wooden lid, inset in leather, features an American eagle stamped in gold and silver and states THE AMERICAN EAGLE - UNITED STATES HISTORICAL SOCIETY. Congress declared the Eagle the official symbol of the United States in 1782. The Colt .45 was first adopted by the U.S. Navy in 1911 and praised for its endurance, reliability and accuracy. It is durable, powerful and easy to maintain. The top of the slide is stamped THE AMERICAN EAGLE * UNITED STATES HISTORICAL SOCIETY.
