Description:
22 inch round barrel chambered in 30 U.S. Cal. Bore is good with strong rifling. Crisp action. Some case color present on the hammer. About 20% thinning original blue blending to gray on the receiver. There is a "364" stamped in the upper tang. No idea what that is for. Barrel is mostly thinning blue/gray color. Sights include the correct "WR" marked Lyman #21 receiver sight and a blade front. Deluxe wood is in good condition with worn checkering and a little original varnish still present on the stock. Complete with steel buttplate. A good looking very usable Winchester made in 1899.
