This Colt was produced in the first year of production in 1948. The pistol's serial number is 9491-S. It has the 6 inch barrel. The grips and extended back arch are in the colorful red tone plastic. The grips have the moulded Colt logo. The magazine is the correct Colt magazine for this pistol. The target sights are original to this pistol. This pistol shows some holster wear. The action is tight with a very fine bore. The original bluing would rate a 92% overall condition. The holster is by Brauer Brothers of Saint Louis. It is called the Moose Brand.
