One of the best out of Belgium, great Golden Era 1925 vintage, very nice engraving and comes to hand with ease with what I think is great stock dimensions. Von Lengerke & Detmold in New York City was respected for its European-made sporting guns and fishing tackle, Von Lengerke & Antoine was the Chicago branch, they later became a subsidiary in August of 1929 and were bought by Abercrombie & Fitch. VL & D did advertise Francotte guns and brought a lot of them to these shores.
