Description:
This is a nice 1.5" inch Target Model Unertl 10 power scope with calibrated head (adjustable objective). This scope features a 3/4" inch steel main tube and 10 power magnification. This precision target scope has a deep blue factory finish and factory hand-fit 1/4 minute per click target-type micrometer mounts. This Unertl has the recoil spring return clamp ring in place as well as the factory coil spring. The optics on this Unertl are bright and clear, with no scratches, chipping, or de-lamination on the lenses. All of the adjustments on both the scope and mounts work perfectly as they were designed. The crosshairs in this Target Model are standard medium/fine with a "Lee" dot. The sight picture thru the scope is perfect with no dust or debris in the picture, and the edges are crisp with no fuzziness. The original blued finish on the main tube and all the other metal scope parts is very good with only minor handling marks and a little high edge wear. It would rate 95% on a percentage scale. The main tube, ocular and objective lens housings, and adjustable focus ring are 100% free from dents. The focus ring turns smoothly and precisely. The factory polished aluminum Unertl mounts are also in great shape. They show only some very minor staining on the natural finish that could be polished off, and some very minor handling marks that would be expected from a lightly used piece. All of the screw heads on the scope are clean and in excellent shape, while the screw heads on the mounts are also in good shape and show only very minor screwdriver marring. This is a very clean and lightly used Unertl Target Model scope that is in 100% functional and all-original. It will hold zero as well today as the day it left the Unertl factory. This 10X Unertl would be a great optic to mount on a vintage target, varmint, or USMC "tribute" sniper rifle. If you have been looking for one of these it would be hard to find one in better condition for the money. This listing is for the scope only, there are no lens caps, box, or paperwork.
