#23797, Winchester Model 21 Field Gun in 12 Bore with 28" Barrels with Original Imp. Cyl. & Mod. Chokes, Made about 1951, The 28" barrels at .729 .007 & .011" (Skt.II & Imp.Cyl.), Factory marked Imp. Cyl. & Mod., 2 3/4" chambers, Single selective trigger, Beavertail forend with the kidney style checkering pattern, Factory pistol grip stock at 14 1/8 x 1 5/8 x 2 1/2" over the factory WRAC buttplate, 7 lbs. 8 oz., Very nice wood with nice feather crotch and nice color and contrast, The original barrel blue at 92%, The receiver & trigger guard blue at 85%, The wood remains at 90% but has been oiled but I don't believe sanded, The checkering at 99%, The bores are excellent in every respect, There is a repaired start/stop crack from the top tang to the trigger guard tang, The piece has been used and shot since the repair, All serial numbers match everywhere.
