Description:
The "Old Old Model Russian" was developed for the Russian Government in 1871 and is the same design as the Model 3 American, except it was designed to fire the .44 S&W Russian cartridge. The finish is 70% + Original Nickle. The Barrel was cut to 5 inches during the period of use. The gun indexes, ejects and fires. All matching frame, barrel, cylinder, and latch. The grips are replacements. In very good Overall Condition. Antique, made and shipped from the Smith & Wesson Factory in 1873.
