Description:
This is a made in West Germany Weatherby Mark V Rifle in 7mm Weatherby Magnum. The serial number dates to 1966. The 24 inch barrel is in Excellent condition with a little wear at the muzzle and a few light handling marks on the top of the barrel. The bore is bright and shiny. The action is in Excellent condition with lots of blue on the bolt knob. The bottom metal has a few light marks on the floorplate and a scratch across the bottom of the trigger guard. The Monte Carlo style skip checkered walnut stock is in the classic Weatherby style with rosewood forend and pistol grip caps with white line spacers and a white diamond inlaid into the pistol grip cap. The Weatherby ventilated rubber recoil pad is present. The wood is in Very Good to Excellent condition with some handling evident and a scratch on the right side under the ejection port. The stock varnish is in good shape without checking. This rifle is equipped with a Bushnell Command Post Scope Chief 2.5-8X scope in a one piece Redfield mount that is included in the price of the rifle. The scope and mount will not be removed and the rifle repriced without them.
