I've had these for over 30 years. I have never researched the signed one. It has two holes in the tang which indicates Japanese ground forces officers sword.
My Uncle Bill brought this back from Battan.
Both are missing some small parts, both blades are perfect. Price includes both swords.
Both have 27" blades.
