Description:
The (Mauser) S/42 "G" Date Luger was manufactured in 1935 only. The pistols were fitted with a 4 inch barrel, full blue finished with straw finished parts, checkered walnut grips, and chambered in 9mm. This pistol is in very fine condition, retaining 85-90% of its original blue finish, with flaking on the trigger sideplate and the left side of the frame, and some thinning at the muzzle and sharp edges of the frame, due to holster wear. Strawed parts retain 70% of their original finish. The bore is bright, with sharp rifling, and the action functions perfectly. It is all numbers matching, except for the magazine.
