This is a nice original WWII German Army (Heer) M40 Helmet. It is maker and size marked "ET66", for the Eizenhuttenwerk Thale firm and size 66. It retains a great deal of original paint and has a very nice tinted Heer decal. This helmet certainly saw combat and has an impact dent on the left front, likely from shrapnel traveling at a high velocity. This helmet has a great original liner and chinstrap and is named "Baum" in ink. This is a very nice original helmet that was combat worn.
