Description:
This is a octagon barrel and crescent butt 45-90 rifle and was made in 1891. The serial number is 60726 on this 26” barreled rifle. There are only traces of blue remaining and the receiver has dark case colors remaining. All of the edges are sharp and the markings are crisp. The wood is solid with only minor dings and dents. The mechanical function is very good, crisp and tight and the bore is good plus and shoots very well. The Cody Firearms Record search says it was shipped from the warehouse on January 12, 1892.
