Description:
This is a U.S. Springfield Model 1816 with an 1825 dated lock. The overall condition is good plus to very good condition. The finish is brown and this is a type ll 69 caliber musket. The mechanical function is very good and the bore is good plus to very good condition. It does have some minor corrosion from the black powder. The wood is solid and has two nice inspector cartouches. It appears to be all original parts and in good working order.
