Heym 88 B Double Rifle, .375HH Magnum, 7 lbs. 3 oz. (without scope), 25" Krupp Steel barrels with hand file cut raised flat rib with one fixed rear sight and ramp blade front sight, rib engraved " Friedrich Wilh. Heym", barrels engraved "Krupp-Special, Laufstahl" and "Made in Germany", double claw quick detachable scope mounts installed in rib, rib extension Greener crossbolt 3rd bite, bolstered boxlock action in coin finish hand engraved with 50% coverage acanthus scroll with maker's name on bottom, ejectors, selector switch on bottom outside of forend to engage/disengage ejectors, pop-up cocking indicators, double triggers, nicely figured European walnut stock with cheekpiece and 14 5/8 LOP over a rubber pad, pistol grip with ebony cap, slim semi-beavertail forend, non-auto safety, comes with a Zeiss Diavari-Z 2.5-10x52 variable scope and removable mounts fitted to QD rib mounts. Excellent condition rifle showing a few light handling marks in wood, some barrel blue thinning at muzzle and again at breech from carrying, otherwise tight, excellent bores and excellent overall condition, forward objective end ring on scope has a few spots of previous corrosion from what looks to be blood rust that amounts to just slight cosmetic imperfection.
