SALE PENDING +++PRICE REDUCED from $2400+++ For Sale: 1943 Colt M1911A1 pistol. This one came to me chrome plated(not nickel plated). It was stripped and parkerized by Fogle's Gunsmithing in OH back to perfect refinished condition. The chrome plating actually protected the stampings and photos verify the pristine condition of them. GHD inspector stamp. The grips appear to be later thick screw hole ringed Keyes. The barrel is a HS(High Standard) and P stamped with sharp rifling. Possibly a field replacement. Slide and frame rail interfaces are in perfect condition. A WWII replacement magazine is in place. This pistol has seen action, brought back and chrome plated as were many USGI pistols. It has been stripped and parkerized with the result of original condition as seen in photos. A wonderful example for the military firearms collector. SIMPLE AND HONEST LAYAWAY PLANS AVAILABLE.
