Winchester M-70 Deluxe - These are the post 64 that used the better Walnut.
This one is ready for your next big game hunt & at a great price !
This Winchester M-70 Cal 30.06 was mfg about 1966 and has some nice history behind it. According to the estate It was used by
the owner to hunt bear in the Nothwest - including Alaska; to hunt deer in Oregon, to hunting Elk in Colorado. It's in good condition w/some light handling marks and some thinning varnish but no gauges, scratches or dings w/a thin White Line pad and a line of pull of about 13 3/4" to 14"(It may not have been cut hardly at all). The metal is about 90% w/some edge wear and some at the muzzle (The muzzle measures about less than 1) - very good for a 52 year old firearm, The bore is a mirror w/a good strong twist.
The barrel is a 22"
The action is very smooth and firm.The floorplare shows some edge wear and of course functions normally.
It comes w/a Simmons 3 x 9 WXA w/good sharp reticles and very clear glass.
Ther is no corrosion or spotting which indicates to me that it was kept out of weather changes. The overal condition is to me about
an NRA Very Good.
