Description:
Here's a pair of consecutive numbered 2nd Generation Colt SAA 5-1/2 inch .45 Colt, manufactured in 1957. S/N's XX040 & XX041. Excellent original case color and blue and are boxed in a custom leather case by Kenny Unger of Spencerport, NY. Colt Factory letter shows the original shipping destination ; Hollywood Fast Draw Holster, North Hollywood, California, April 4th, 1957. This was the shop of the famous Arvo Ojala, noted Hollywood fast draw shooter and gun leather designer. Mr Ojala recieved a U.S. Patent for his innovative fast draw holster design used by many Hollywood cowboys of the 1950's and '60. Super collector's item which includes a double gun rig in black with silver fittings built by Mr. Ojala. Also comes with a framed autographed poster. There were only 256 pairs of consecutive 5-1/2 inch, bl/cc, 45's guns shipped.
