G., Steyr,Austria: The Steyr Zephyr 22 Long Rifle Mannlicher Carbine Style Sporter, Made in 1961, 20" barrel, 1 standing & 1 folding rear sights, Ramp front sight, Grooved receiver top for scope rings, Rear bolt safety, Single trigger, Clip Magazine, Full length Mannlicher stock, Point pattern checkering, Shadow line cheekpiece, Grip cap, Sling eyes, 13 7/8" lop over a grooved buttplate, 5 lbs. 14 oz., The barrel blue is 99%, The receiver blue at 97%, The stock finish remains at 94%, The checkering at 99%, The bore is as new. Many gun cranks feel these are the best 22 rimfires to come from the European continent. These were made from 1953 to the late 1970's with production records at about 3,913 total pieces. They have always been popular and are well put together with a nice classic style.
