Magnificent Deluxe Lightning Medium Frame w Factory Letter, shipped August 14, 1895 to Hartley and Graham, NY, NY, single gun shipment, special order. 26" octagonal barrel w half magazine retains 90% of original blue. Action is bright blue, and retains 85% of its original finish. Rampant Colt is engraved on the left side. Action is extremely tight, and original. This gun appears totally unaltered. Stock is full pistol-grip and retains original finish with highly figured walnut, and sharp checkering. The buttplate has earned a silver-gray patina with no pitting, and screws are perfect. There is an unaltered gold oval in the butt, and the only significant blemish on the stock for the age of this rifle, is a chip on the pistol grip, which can be seen in the photos. As can be expected, the rifle has handling marks but lacks any significant flaws. Bore is blinding bright, to put it lightly!
