Description:
32-40 WIN; 60% blue, fair bore, good stock, 26'' barrel, Manufactured in 1904. Original blue finish and plain walnut stock. Silver blade fixed front sight, elevation adjustable rear sight. Full octagon barrel, marked on top with the Marlin address and patent dates 1887, 1889 and 1893 in two lines. Marked on top of the frame "MARLIN SAFETY" and on the upper tang "MARLIN/1893". Used, showing finish wear and thinning, scattered light surface rust, fading case color on the lever. The right side of the buttstock has been sanded and left unfinished. Missing the two upper tang plug screws. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling however is dark throughout.
