Description:
Pre-War Griffin & Howe Mauser 30-06 made about 1939 with 24" barrel with excellent bore. Banded ramp front sight and banded sling swivel. Recciever with Griffin & Howe sidemount with Lyman Alaskan 2 1/2X scope with post and crosshair and good optics. Lyman 48 reciever peep sight with 125' slide and slide blank for when scope in use. Stipled front reciever ring and finely jeweled bolt and extractor. Button release floorplate with typical checkered "thumbprint" and checkered trigger face. Two panel bolt knob checkering. Beuhler safety. Pistol grip stock with better than average stock figure. Shadow line pancake cheekpiece. Steel pistol grip cap with engraved screw. Horn forend tip. Vacant stock oval. 13 1/2" LOP to a Model 70 style steel buttplate 8lb 14oz scoped and 8lb even without scope.
