SALE PENDING: PRICE REDUCED: For Sale: Colt 1918 M1911 USGI Pistol that retains 60% of its original blueing with Black Colt coarse finish. It has the sought after "heart shaped" grip frame. Magazine is original two tone(finish long gone) with pinned bottom. Barrel is Post WWII field replacement unit with sharp rifling, P marked on side and in front of lugs. Slide stop is correct undercut design, Eagle inspection stamp correct for serial number range, H stamped on slide above firing pin retainer, flat MSH, P stamp on top of slide in front of rear sight. Stampings are in pristine condition. Frame and slide rails show no wear. Grips are original large diamond versions with 15 rows of checkering between diamonds. An excellent example of a WWI firearm that will enhance any military firearm collection. Pistol has been disassembled, cleaned, tested and fired with excellent functionality.
