Description:
This is a Browning 78 rifle in .45-70. The serial number dates to 1976. The 24 inch octagon barrel is in Excellent condition with a few minor handling marks and some wear at the muzzle. The bore is bright and shiny. The action is in Excellent condition. The stock is checkered walnut with a straight grip, Schnabel fore end, and a steel crescent buttplate. The stock has a ding on the right side of the butt. The wood is in Excellent condition overall.
