Very Early Winchester 1876 Open Top. .45-75 Caliber made in 1877. Early gun, serial number 391. This gun has been expertly restored. The caliber is .45-75 and no marking is on the barrel because that was the only caliber offered at this stage in production. Bore has strong rifling but some pitting. This is a rare open top variation before there were dust covers on the 1876. Very fine early gun!
