AUTHENTIC INDIAN TACKED TOWER ENFIELD CAVALRY CARBINE DATED 1863. Probably imported for use during the Civil War and later used by one of the tribes during Indian Wars of the late 1860’s thru the 1880’s. Old original trade tacks with real aging and wear. Old rawhide wrap at forend retained by old brass tacks. Metal and wood with the original old heavily used patina. Lock stamped “TOWER/1863” and with the Royal Cypher. Old collection provenance. And guaranteed 100% original.
