The S&W .32-20 W.C.F. Hand Ejector (Model of 1905-4th Change) was made from 1915 to 1940 with 78,983 manufactured. The 6-shot revolvers were fitted with either 4, 5, or 6 inch barrel, hard rubber or checkered walnut grips, blue or nickel finished, built on a round or square butt frame, and were chambered in .32-20 W.C.F. only. This 1917 vintage gun is as described and is fitted with a 6 inch barrel, checkered walnut grip with recessed S&W medallions, and is blue finished. It is in fine condition, retaining 90% of its original blue finish, with most loss due to thinning on the sharp edges of the frame and barrel and high spots on the cylinder. The grips fit very well with minimal handling marks, and they have no cracks or chips. The bore is bright, with sharp rifling, though there are some areas of spotting. The action functions perfectly, with tight lock-up. Most of the screwheads suffer from poor use of a screw-driver. The hammer and trigger retain most all of their original color case-hardened finish.
