44 Russian; good bore, very good grips, 7'' barrel, Serial number 1. 2nd Model (Old Model Russian) with nickel finish and plain walnut grips. Trigger guard retains about 50% finish. Casehardened hammer. Russian marked with two Imperial proofs on top of the barrel rib. Fixed sights, 6-shot cylinder. Lanyard ring on butt of grip. Marked along the top of the barrel rib in cyrillic Russian, with two Russian imperial crown/doubleheaded eagle over H K proofs. Possibly an old re-nickel, with signs of light pitting in areas under the finish. The markings are all crisp and clear. Some dark rust
spotting along the edges of the grip frame straps. The bore has some light pitting throughout. Mechanically needing some attention. The cylinder
hand functions but does not engage the cylinder. Barrel lockup is good. Antique
